Wellbeing
Orara High School adopts a learning stage, a whole school and a targeted approach to developing and strengthening cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development of students. The themes that drive wellbeing are for our students to Connect, Succeed and Thrive.
Our Commitment to Wellbeing
As a Wellbeing team, we will drive the capacity of our school community to connect, success and thrive for personal success. This will instil a sense of trust, respect, belonging and connectedness and lead to improve wellbeing and academic outcomes. We will empower our school community to build a culture of resilience and high expectations.
Students may seek support from their Year Advisor, Student Support Officer, Head Teacher Wellbeing or Deputy Principal during break times at school. Students may also seek support from a trusted member of staff.
