Dear Orara families and friends,
Term 1 has been a challenging yet rewarding one. The ongoing pandemic and the floods proved to be an obstacle, however, we were able to overcome these through resilience and perseverance.
Year 7 have been successful in transitioning from primary school to high school, with some challenges along the way that are to be expected. Well done to all.
Year 12 are halfway through their HSC now, with the home stretch in sight. Now is the time for them to knuckle down, continue with their daily studies, seek assistance when required through their teachers, Ms Edmonds and their year advisors.
Term 2 will commence for students Tuesday, 20 April.
Staff will commence Monday, 19 April, with a school development day.
The P&C will meet at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, 4 May. We invite all parents/carers and community members to come along and be part of this important group working for the school.
