NASCA

The NASCA Academy at Orara High School supports Indigenous girls by focusing on three core pillars: Culture, Education, and Community. The academy is designed to strengthen students' connection to their culture, enhancing their social and emotional well-being while also supporting improved educational outcomes.

In addition to in-school support, the NASCA Academy offers a Pathways Program to help students transition smoothly into further education and employment. This program provides comprehensive support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally.

NASCA is a 100% Indigenous-governed and led organisation, committed to empowering young people through culturally responsive education programs.

Clontarf

The Clontarf Academy at Orara High School is designed to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men. The program takes a holistic approach, offering support across academic, mentoring, and sporting areas to help students thrive.

The core mission of the Clontarf Academy is to ensure that participants graduate from school and secure employment, providing them with opportunities for a brighter future. By combining sport with education and training, the program keeps students engaged while equipping them with the essential skills needed to succeed in life.
