Personal development, health and physical education

Welcome to the PDHPE Faculty

The PDHPE faculty at Orara High School aims to provide students with practical and engaging learning experiences that support their health, wellbeing, and physical activity. Our teachers work together to deliver lessons that are both relevant and enjoyable for all students.

PDHPE allows students to explore a range of topics that impact their health, safety, and wellbeing, both now and in the future. Through a mix of theory and practical activities, students develop skills to make informed decisions and manage challenges in a positive way.

Our programs focus on keeping students active through a variety of sports and physical activities that help build skills, confidence, and teamwork. The goal is for students to enjoy participating and to see the value of staying active.

In addition to regular lessons, students take part in sport and physical activities that encourage an active lifestyle. The faculty aims to create a welcoming and positive environment where every student feels comfortable to join in and try new things.
