Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
It is with great pleasure that I return to my role as Principal of Orara High School. May I offer my apologies for both the length of this unexpected absence and for the several changes in my plans to return or not over these past eighteen months. For many months now I have wanted nothing more than to return to the Orara school community but it was only in the last week of Term 3 that my doctor gave the all-clear for me to resume work. I am now 100% ready to go and look forward to working with everyone within the school community as we make our great school even greater every day.
I would like to sincerely thank Mrs Michelle Elliott for her tireless work as Relieving Principal during these eighteen months. I am also very grateful to Mrs Elliott for assisting me at Orara for several days this term so that we can complete a thorough handover.
It is difficult for me to describe how happy I am to be able to return to Orara. I have high expectations for us all and sincerely look forward to reconnecting with everyone over the coming days.
