Dear Parents/Carers,
On behalf of all staff, my sincere thanks for your collaboration and support during the 2023 school year. Good schools work closely with their school community and I am very proud of the ever increasing collaboration we enjoy.
Please look forward to the opportunity to join us at the parent meeting we will be holding on Wednesday, 7 February 2024 from approximately 4pm to 5pm where at this event we will be welcoming families involved in our Orara Student Athlete Academy (OSAA) as a way of communicating this exciting new initiative. Immediately following this we will be having a P&C meeting to formally rekindle the school's parent body.
Soon after the OSAA event, on Tuesday, 20 February 2024 we will have a special welcome gathering for our parents and carers for Year 7 2024 and thereafter we are planning various activities throughout the year that we hope you will be interested in engaging in regarding particular focus areas such as curriculum framework, literacy and numeracy initiatives and other student related matters we have planned.
May I wish everyone within our school community a happy and safe Christmas and new year and I look forward to doing whatever I can in 2024 to further support our wonderful school.
